Masking Angola:

The Mask Project

I founded the Masking Angola Initiative in my hometown Luanda, with the mission of distributing homemade masks and soap around local disadvantaged communities and raising awareness about safe practices during the COVID pandemic.

During the project, I made 150+ homemade reusable masks for communities that did not have access to them during the mandates. Along with masks, we provided sanitary materials such as hand soaps and hand sanitizers. In partnership with graphic designer Hannah Hendrickson, we raised over $300 to help fund the various materials for donation.
